I have worked for many years in the theatre, working with materials in unconventional and experimental ways. Over the years,
I have created performances from paper, plastic, clay, and other materials, where the material itself has been a living part of the narrative.
In recent years, however, a new source has opened up that has led me into the world of pottery and ceramic art.
There is something so familiar about clay — a bit like coming home.
I choose to work slowly and take a long time with each object.
This is not mass production but a slow and nourishing practice, where time, patience, and the process itself are as important as the result. In my works,
I seek the interplay of color and pattern and to allow a little playfulness to accompany the process.
In my online store I offer handmade ceramic items - advent candles, candle holders, cups and bowls that combine refined art and practicality. You can also find drawings and paintings there.
I sell my products as is, directly from the workshop.

Um mig
Ég hef starfað í mörg ár innan leikhússins og unnið þar með efni á óhefðbundinn og tilraunakenndan hátt.
Í gegnum árin hef ég skapað sýningar úr pappír plasti, mold, leir og öðrum efnum, þar sem efnið sjálft hefur verið lifandi hluti af frásögninni.
Á síðustu árum hefur hins vegar opnast ný uppspretta sem hefur leitt mig inn í heim leirmuna og keramiklistar.
Það er eitthvað svo kunnuglegt við leirinn — svolítið eins og að koma heim.
Ég kýs að vinna hægt og nostra lengi við hvern hlut.
Þetta er ekki fjöldaframleiðsla heldur hæg og nærandi ástundun, þar sem tími, þolinmæði og ferlið sjálft eru jafn mikilvægt og útkoman.
Í verkunum mínum leita ég að samspili lita og mynsturs og að leyfa smá leikgleði að fylgja með í ferlinu. Hver munur er einstakur.
Í vefversluninni býð ég uppá handunna keramikmuni - aðventuljós, kertastjaka, bolla og skálar sem sameina fágaða list og notagildi.
Þar má einnig finna teikningar og málverk.
Ég sel vörurnar mínar eins og er beint frá verkstæðinu.
